A request is not a reservation. Magnara approaches the venue on your behalf, tells you honestly what came back and, when the answer is no, proposes the alternative worth having rather than the one that was merely available.

Dining, nightlife and venue requests
Restaurant reservations, nightlife arrangements, club requests, guest-list requests and private-venue services are subject to availability and the applicable venue’s approval, age requirements, identification requirements, dress code, conduct policies, deposits, minimum spends, cancellation rules and admission procedures. Submission of a request does not create a confirmed reservation or guarantee entry.
