Las Vegas
A city built entirely around hosting, which makes it unusually good at it.
Las Vegas is a purpose-built hospitality city, and the machinery behind it — restaurants, venues, transport, entertainment — is genuinely exceptional. For a group celebration, a sporting weekend or a client programme, few places can absorb the request as easily.
The city has also changed. The restaurant scene is serious, the sporting calendar now includes major professional teams and events, and the resorts have moved well beyond gaming as the sole attraction.
The desert around it is the underused half: Red Rock twenty minutes away, Zion and the Grand Canyon within a short flight or a long drive.
01
Why go
Capacity for groups
Suites, private dining, venues and transport that can absorb a large group at short notice.
Restaurants and shows
A concentration of significant restaurants and residencies that would be spread across a country elsewhere.
Sport and events
A calendar that now includes major professional sport and international events.
Desert on the doorstep
Red Rock, Valley of Fire, and helicopter or fixed-wing access to the canyon country.
02
Arrive
Harry Reid International serves the city, with Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas handling general aviation. Private terminal facilities are well developed and used to high volumes around major events.
Around fights, races and conventions, the whole city — hotels, restaurants, transport — tightens sharply, and prices move accordingly.
- Well-developed private aviation facilities
- Major event weeks transform availability and pricing
- Ground transport is straightforward but slow on the Strip
03
Stay
Resort suites and villas — the top-tier resort accommodation here is genuinely private and rarely publicised — plus a growing market of private homes for groups who want a house rather than a hotel.
The trade-off is convenience versus quiet: on-Strip for the venues, off-Strip or Summerlin for space and calm.
- Resort suites and private villas within the major properties
- Private homes off-Strip for larger groups
- Event weeks require early commitment and firm terms
04
At the table
A dense concentration of restaurants from significant international chefs, plus private dining rooms and chef’s tables designed for exactly this kind of group. Off-Strip, Chinatown holds some of the best eating in the city.
Reservations around major events are competitive and often carry minimums.
- Chef-led restaurants, private rooms and chef’s tables
- Chinatown for the best off-Strip eating
- Event-week reservations require long lead times
- Requests remain subject to venue confirmation
05
After dark
Nightclubs, dayclubs, lounges and residency programming operate at a scale found nowhere else. Table service and guest-list requests are handled by the venues; minimum spends, door policy, dress code and age requirements all apply and are enforced.
Magnara submits requests and reports back what the venue confirms. No entry, table or guest-list placement is guaranteed.
- Nightclubs, dayclubs, lounges and residencies
- Table service carries minimum spends set by the venue
- Age and ID requirements are strictly enforced
- All access requests remain subject to venue approval
06
Weddings and private events
Everything from small ceremonies to full resort events, with licensing in Nevada notably straightforward and quick compared with other jurisdictions. Resorts handle large weddings and corporate events as routine business.
Desert and outdoor settings are available and carry their own permit requirements.
- Nevada marriage licensing is quick and straightforward
- Resorts handle large weddings and corporate programmes
- Desert and outdoor venues require permits
- Event-week competition affects availability and pricing
07
Experience
Red Rock Canyon for hiking and driving twenty minutes from the Strip, Valley of Fire further out, and helicopter or fixed-wing trips to the Grand Canyon and Zion. Golf across a number of desert courses, and shopping concentrated and convenient.

- Grand Canyon and Zion by air or road
- Desert golf courses across the valley
- Sport and residency programming in season
