Questions
Asked, answered plainly.
How Magnara works
No. Anyone may submit a one-time request — a villa, a flight, a table, a wedding enquiry — without becoming a member. Membership exists for clients who travel regularly and want their preferences understood before each new request begins.
Yes. Some clients ask Magnara to coordinate an entire journey; others need one piece — a dinner reservation, a transfer, a boat for an afternoon. Both are normal requests.
Magnara evaluates providers on legal authority to operate, insurance, service quality, responsiveness, privacy practices, commercial terms, references and how they handle things when something goes wrong. Providers that cannot demonstrate the basics are not used.
Commercial terms are set out in writing before anything is confirmed. Depending on the service, payment may be made to Magnara or directly to the supplier, and deposits, cancellation terms and any fees are identified in the proposal rather than discovered afterwards.
The destination or occasion, dates and their flexibility, who is travelling, and what matters most — pace, privacy, a particular view, a dietary need. The more specific the brief, the better the options that come back.
Yes. The published destinations are where Magnara has the deepest familiarity, not a boundary. Requests for other destinations are welcome and are researched the same way.
Villas and stays
No. Properties in the Villa Collection are offered by independent owners, managers and lodging providers. Magnara provides travel-planning, sourcing and coordination services and does not own or manage a listed property unless expressly stated.
No. Where a starting rate is shown, it reflects information verified with the provider at a point in time and remains subject to confirmation for your dates, group size and season. Final rates, taxes, fees and terms are confirmed in writing before booking.
No. Unless a page states otherwise, availability is confirmed upon request with the property. Magnara does not display live calendars it cannot stand behind.
Yes — through the Submit a Property page. Listings go through content, image-rights, commercial and legal review before anything is published, and submission does not guarantee acceptance.
Aviation, yachts and transport
No. Magnara Club does not own or operate aircraft. Private flights are performed by independent, appropriately authorized air carriers that maintain operational control of their flights. The operating carrier is identified in the applicable quotation or confirmation.
Yes — from day boats to charter weeks, through independent owners and operators. Vessels, crew, itineraries and terms are confirmed by the operator in writing, and no vessel is presented as available without that confirmation.
Yes. Chauffeur services, airport and FBO transfers, event and wedding guest movement, and specialty vehicle requests are arranged through independent licensed operators.
Dining and nightlife
Yes — Magnara approaches the restaurant on your behalf and reports back what the venue confirms. What Magnara will not do is promise a table it does not hold: every reservation request remains subject to the venue’s availability and approval.
Yes. Private rooms, chef’s tables, restaurant buyouts and in-villa chefs are among the most common requests, and the practical route for groups of eight or more.
Magnara can submit table-service, guest-list and venue requests to clubs, beach clubs and lounges. Admission, minimum spends, dress codes, age requirements and door policy belong to the venue, and every request remains subject to venue approval.
No. No entry, table, ticket or guest-list placement is guaranteed. Magnara submits the request, tells you what the venue confirmed, and never charges for access it does not have.
Where a legitimate relationship or access pathway exists, Magnara may submit an access request subject to the club’s approval and its membership or guest policies. Magnara does not imply access to any private club without authorization.
Yes — private estates, event-permitted villas, hotel spaces, restaurants for buyout, galleries, gardens and waterfront venues, subject to each venue’s availability, capacity and terms.
Weddings and events
Magnara coordinates the travel and hospitality architecture of destination weddings — venue research, guest accommodation, aviation and ground transportation, boats, welcome dinners, after-parties and departures — working alongside independent wedding planners, venues and suppliers.
Magnara provides travel-planning, sourcing and coordination services. It is not the legal wedding planner, venue operator, caterer or production company, and works alongside the independent professionals who hold those roles.
Yes — Como wedding weekends are one of Magnara’s most requested briefs. The work is the travel side: clustering guest accommodation, boat and car transfers, the dinners either side of the day, and the departure plan. Venues, permits and ceremony logistics sit with the venue and planner and are confirmed in writing.
Yes — group aviation requests, commercial flight coordination, room blocks, transfers, shuttles and guest itineraries, treated as one system rather than a hundred individual bookings.
Yes. Proposals, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and multi-day celebrations are coordinated through the same request process, at whatever scale the occasion calls for.
Yes — retreats, leadership trips, incentive travel, client hospitality and event-week programmes, including group aviation, lodging across multiple properties and ground movement.
Partners and privacy
Yes — through the Partner With Magnara page. Magnara reviews legal authority, insurance, service standards, commercial terms and references before working with any provider, and prospective partners are not displayed publicly.
Client information is collected minimally, used to fulfil requests, and never sold. Requests are routed to Magnara first — client details are not passed to a partner without an appropriate workflow. The Privacy Policy sets this out in full.
